Sports Injuries and Rehabilitation

Treatment Philosophy

The Doctors and Therapists at LSC use advanced physiotherapeutic modalities, myofascial release, and other manual therapy techniques to eliminate pain and restore normal biomechanics to injured joints. We strive to get you back into your game as quickly and effectively as possible with little or no down time.  We place great importance on educating our patients about why these injuries happen, and what they can do to prevent them from happening again.

Another key component of Sports Medicine at Lakeway Spine Center is a focus on advanced, individualized strengthening and stabilization techniques in order to help you recover quickly, achieve optimal joint function, and prevent further injury.

Improving Athletic Performance

Lakeway Spine Center helps athletes achieve better muscle balance across joints in order to reduce strain and decrease the likelihood of injuries such as: tennis elbow, rotator cuff tears / tendonitis, patellar tendonitis, shin splints, etc.

We utilize a detailed Biomechanical Analysis to examine how your joints are moving and stabilize any imbalances in order to optimize how your joints are working, so you can take your game to the next level.

Through his involvement with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Dr. Aaron develops training and rehabilitation programs that will help you recover from injury quickly and create desired results in strength, muscular and cardiovascular endurance, speed, agility, coordination, balance, and power that lead to improved athletic performance. Dr. Aaron Williams, CSCS has experience working with all levels of athletes - from high schoolers to weekend warriors to professional athletes.
